It's been awhile...

After not selling even one song, I've been inactive on Broadjam for about 8 years.  For the past 3 years, I have been playing mucic for senior communities 2-3 times a week.   My son Arthur is going to be 9 years old in June.  I hope all is well the friends I made here.  Mark Fossey

Hi Mark Fossey,
I have been listening to "Dare the Devil" on Broadjam and I genuinely appreciate the authenticity in your sound. It feels natural and cinematic, the kind of vibe that can translate well beyond just streaming platforms.

I work with independent artists to help position their music more strategically, especially when it comes to being industry-ready, refining presentation, metadata, branding, and overall profile structure so it aligns with what decision-makers are actually looking for.

Out of curiosity, are you currently aiming more toward sync placements, or focused on growing your streaming audience?

If you're open to it, I'd be happy to have a brief, no-pressure chat about your direction and explore whether there's a practical way I can support what you're building.

Either way, keep creating, your sound truly stands out.

the fact that you haven't licensed a single thing in 3 years really scares the hell out me. Its almost unbelievable, you have an entire library of soundtrack music unto yourself. Maybe you should just start your own publishing library and land your own deals. Theres a music supervisors black book I saw in a contest on Music x-ray, so I know it exists, maybe you should try to get your hands on one and just skip this site and stat soliciting straight to independent film studios. Do you have any money to play with? all you really need to call yourself a business is a website. So strart your own music library, you could build a business site for about 3k and then place adds on the op side on music x-ray which charges a submission fee of $10 by the pop provider, start raking in the money to pay for expenses while building up your library and find an ex-music supervisor with connections who will work for you on commission, 15% for every license they land and just sit back and make music. I'd do it if I had your catalogue and 3k to spend. If you ever do try it, look me up I have tons of great stuff too you can put in your library, you could advertise here on the op side and rake in all the best talent and make licensing money off EVERYONES music not just your own.

Dare the Devil is a perfect soundtrack piece, if you can't license it then I don't stand a chance, and I would go as far as to say that if a library doesn't want to at least catalogue it then this whole site is fake and we should all just get off it and go elsewhere. apply it to 10 libraries and if non want it then I'd just quite this site cause it doesn't get any better than that song, perfect drama.
