John Philippe Legg

I was born in Illinois and moved to Texas at an early age where I became a loyal country music fan. Throughout college I sang in various country bands and lived that honky tonk dream. After graduating, I settled in Houston and began writing a lot while working in law enforcement. I've been blessed by having met folks in the music business who have positively impacted my continued efforts. For instance, a modest but inspirational experience as a staff writer for a Nashville company in the 90's. Now, I still write regularly and have a growing library of self and co-written material which I record locally in Houston with absolutely the finest individuals while promoting the songs through various Nashville pluggers.
