I was born in Saigon, Viet Nam. I, Cuong Manh Nguyen/Nguyen Manh Cuong, left Vietnam in 1984 and I am currently residing in the United States. I learned to play the violin when I was 13 and started to write music in the 1990s. I played music in a provisional and local band and also taught violin privately at a local music school. I'm currently working and living in California.
