Big hug to you Julia... on the loss of your Father. Lost mine just 2 years ago now and I still keep thinking I can just pick up the phone and call him... and hear him laugh... and discuss simple things of life. Each time I'd get a new joke I'd call him because he was the best audience... and he'd always tell me "I'm gonna use that one at the Red Dome today". That was the restaurant at town where he would always eat and always there were friends there that would drop by the table and then Dad would have a new story or joke to tell. He lived in the same town all his life and.... well here I am talking about my own Dad... and this time is for your Father... and your memories and your times with him that brought laughter and then finally tears. The loss of a Parent is the hardest loss next to the premature loss of a child. Anyway, big hug to you and keep writing those pretty songs... you have a gift. Always, Joseph

I won the BarrieFolk Society Youth Songwriters' Showcase on Saturday though with my submission of Amadeus! Woot! We keep entering songs so hopefully something will pay off! Currently recording a new full length CD with new material!
