Ordinary People

This is a song I wrote after my son was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It was a truly tragic time in my life and for five weeks I drove back and forth to the hospital for 1 hour each way. In the very beginning of the ordeal, I was furious at the world (people and the unfairness of it all). After the surgery, and driving back and forth for five weeks, I started to become more grateful to everyone who reached out and offered to help. I was so thankful for the doctor's , nurses, etc who I felt went out of their way to be helpful. I eventually came to a feeling of gratitude which is what this song is about. The Song was dedicated to the neurosurgeon who saved his life.
