Started in 2001 as a result of an idea in Spanish,Sparky's Flaw has evolved into a high school band (all members are between 17-19) that greatly exceeds what this label entails. With the relase of their first album "Live From the Recording Studio" in June 2003 (1000+ copies sold while in high school), they have toured around Virginia and the general East coast, gotten consistant radio play on Charlottesville's 97.53WV, Z 95.1, and 91.9 WNRN, over 97,000 hits on sparkysflaw.com in the past 15 months, Anderson, saxophonist Kit French , guitarist Peter Dejong, bassist Alex Hargrave , keyboardist Eric Prum and drummer Johnny Stubblefild look to move into the ne with the release of thier new EP on April 28th. Recorded at Crystalphic Recording Studio with Kevin McNoldy (7 Mary 3, Mary Chapin Carpenter), and some high profile opening slots with bands such as W.B.Rec. artist Robert Randolph and Blue Hammock Records artist Virginia Coalition, Sparky's Flaw is on the verge of something huge.
