Story Behind The Song

I was there long ago and far away. Way back when I was playing bass in Jersey Gin Mills and Biker Bars my Buddy and guitarist Lee Tompko would always play a jam tune with just one verse he would repeat over and over, it was just a generic riff in A with a great dramatic drum break. I told him we needed to find out who wrote it and learn it properly. Lee is gone, I searched Google for the song and variations. I thought maybe Savoy Brown or Fogat, Johnny Winter. Nope, NOTHING. So I added some changes, wrote some more verses and asked Producer and Co-Writer Mark Riddick to add his own. Here we are in the woods in an open air Dance Hall with the wooden Shutters up, sawdust on the floor and Jitterbugs jumping as the Boogie Band plays.
