Story Behind The Song
I already had the lyrics "I can't fight you, I don't need to" after a difficult relationship came to an end. When I heard Yonass' music, to which he had given the surreal title of "Corridors and Plains", with the running sound (breathing) at the beginning I thought of Dali dreamlike paintings and was inspired the lyrics.
Song Description
Description of a dream where the world is perfect and everyone is loving towards each other. On waking, the reality is a spoilt world, where children are not protected, animals are used and wars are waged. The chorus repeats "I can't fight you - I don't need too". This song is not confrontational. It is accepting of the fact that an inner/dreamlike peace, with respect for others (whatever colour, species or race) is sufficient for an individual to be happy in this world.

Lyrics
Running through my dreams
I find a land with magic scenes
A world with beauty unbroken
And in this land of peace
Whatever woes were chasing me
I can turn and face my fears unspoken
Every living soul has love deep in his eyes
There's no-one here to hurt them
Once our eyes are blind to colour, species or race
Our world will be a perfect place
If I use my energy to give
And not to take for free
I can find my natural way
I can't fight you
I don't need to
I switch on my TV
Absorbing what you feed to me
A world with beauty that's broken
Children viewing greed and lust
Never learning who to trust
And a war on terror that's a token
Every animal we take for our use
Our ears are closed to their tears
Once our eyes are blind to colour, species or race
Our world will be a perfect place
If I use my energy to give
And not to take for free
I can find my natural way
I can't fight you
I don't need to
