Lyrics

Showing wounds like a prize
Coming clean but still in disguise
Who's your hero now?
There's the money safe and sound
Don't ever touch it; it's a sacred cow
Who's your hero now?
When you're on your knees
Deep down there's so much disease
When life feels like a tease
Who hears your pleas?
Wearing happy like cheap perfume
Overwhelming the real you
Who's your hero now?
Lights are on but no one's home
Except the child that's been disowned
Who's your hero now?
When you're on your knees
Deep down there's so much disease
When life feels like a tease
Who hears your pleas?

Nice dark and moody songwriter track. liked the subtle guitar and subtle backing and vocal style.
good track what i call proper songwriting. something you can sit back and listen to in the dark with a rum and coke and just be absorbed by the music and vocal .
