Story Behind The Song
The song was written at first to remind the atmosphere of an urban street in Detroit. Its touch of sadness and degrade gave me the idea to use the song as a soundtrack for a moving video on poverty:

Song Description
One of my favorite compositions, because of the climax mounting up with a very long phrase. It keeps the tension growing, therefore there is a greater sense of relief when it resolves.
