Constant Elevation is a collaborative effort featuring two of the original members of Little Egypt; Visual Poetics & Taajwar and Profound Knight from the Bronx.
It is the first collaboration between Visual Poetics and Profound Knight but probably won't be the last as both MCs have gained a mutual respect for each other's work over the past year.
All artists on this track have gained followings due to their conscious outlooks and their underground worthy lyrics and wordplay.
Song Description
This song is a depiction of life growing up in NYC (specifically Brooklyn & The Bronx) told from the perspective of three different MCs each from a different generation. This allows us to give you three different views of how things change over time and how they do not.
Each verse is filled with the hope, despair, dreams, determination and vision of any inner city child turned adult and can be related to by any long term urban resident.
