Story Behind The Song
This is the first song that our bassist has written and that the band has recorded. We developed the song from the piano base into a full song while into the studio and worked hard on intense and meaningful lyrics. Thanks to the help of our producer Jamie Candiloro we brought the modern "four on the floor" feel to this tune and a cool open a capella bridge, which is also hot right now.
Song Description
This song is about a relationship at a happy decision point. Things have been good up until that point, but now it is time to take a next step. It marks each person describing how far they have come, and where they want to go.

Lyrics
NO GOING BACK
V1
Stumbling from my head, this borrowed time,
Maybe cause I'm racing for the shore.
There's something bright and wild with you,
When you're wanting it more.
V2
The colors fade, and leaves they fall away,
Just like the queens and kings of yesterday
There's something fierce and wild with you,
When there's nothing to say.
C1
We've got to walk that line..
We'll know each other if we walk that line...
No going back to our old ways....
V3
Rain pours down, and you're in bloom
Now our future's catching up too soon
From these mending scars we'll be renewed
C2
We've got to walk that line..
We'll know each other if we walk that line...
No going back to our old ways....
Bridge
C3
We've got to walk that line..
We'll know each other if we walk that line...
No going back to our old ways....
We've got to walk that line
We've got to walk that line
We've got to walk that line
Our own way
Our own way
Our own way
