Story Behind The Song
This is the story of a woman scorned. She was a newlywed wife and head-over-heals in love with the love of her life. Out of the blue, he abandons her and she literally goes crazy. She finds out that he has played her and has women all over. She is incensed and tracks him down at a motel, where he's shacking up. She commits a double murder with her shotgun and goes to prison. She still thinks that it is all his fault, because he wanted more.

Lyrics
He Wanted More
(Intro)
I. Well, I'm achin'. I'm achin' over him.
My heart's breakin'. Look at th' shape I'm in.
I'm suicidal. I've got a loaded gun.
Feel his dagger. And he's on th' run.
(Chorus)
I was livin' th' life...
Of a newlywed wife.
Th' honeymoon kept goin' on... night after night!
But, he never got... satisfied. He wanted more.
II. So, he left me. He left me all alone.
I kept callin'. Took a hammer to my phone!
Girls came knockin'. Is this a jack-ass prank?
Who's his lover? Just fill in th' blank!(Chorus)
I was livin th' life...
Of a newlywed wife.
Th' honeymoon kept goin' on... night after night!
But, he never got... satisfied. He wanted more.
III. Bastard dumped me. He dumped me for a twit!
For a bimbo. A waitress with big tits!
Found th' motel. Busted into their room.
Double barrel. Two birds just went boom!
(Bridge)
Now, I'm livin' th' life...
Of a woman in stripes.
Went from white to black, and now I'm in orange.
Ain't no rhyme or reason, but my life is in storage.
And, it's all his fault... because, he wanted more.
(Chorus)
I was livin' th' life...
Of a newlywed wife.
Th' honeymoon kept goin' on... night after night.
But, he never got... satisfied. He wanted more.
He wanted more.
(Tag) He wanted... more.
