Story Behind The Song
We set out to write a traditional 2.1/2min pop song that tackled a non traditional theme. We knew the song would build from a simple lonely guitar/vocal through to a complex blend of heavy guitars and mutiple backing vocals.
Song Description
This song examines the complexity of life in the 21st century. We all live in front of lenses. Technology is dumbing us down and surplanting lonliness.

Lyrics
Lonlier Still
(©ASCAP 1999 Allison, Ramsay)
Had a dream you could see me
as I sleep
and my world was a movie
on tv
When I came to
a question
burned in me
Would my life be a film
I'd pay to see again?
It's been just one of those days
you find yourself growing
lonlier still
With the world dumbing down
'till there's nothing worth knowing
lonlier still
I've had enough pushing pixels
through the wire
to a world that is waiting
on the dial
It's been just one of those days
you wake up and find your
lonlier still
look to see that
there's less time ahead
than behind you
lonlier still
lonlier still
It's just been one of those days
you find that you're growing
lonlier still
With the world dumbing down
'till there's nothing worth knowing
lonlier still
It's been just one of those days
you wake up to find you
lonlier still
Wake to see that
there's less time ahead
than behind you
lonlier still
Had a dream you could see me
as I sleep
