Story Behind The Song

At the old jamhouse there was an old yellow metal sign that was from a Diner. It was hard to read what was on the menu that day, but you could make out two potatoes, two rolls. So we took our little break to get our heads straight, saw that sign, it was meant to be. Also its your meat and potatoes, but there is a vegetarian in the band so it became the joke 2 potatoes, 2 rolls was the only choice for him at certain late night eateries.
