Story Behind The Song
This song was written after visiting an AIDS patient at an Atlanta hospital. I was struck by the lack of human interaction that occurred during our visit. The only link to the outside world for him was his tv. The loneliness that was in that stark room was unbelievable.
Song Description
Realization of the loneliness felt in the lives of people in medical isolation. Wishing for them peace in their passing and happiness in the end.

Lyrics
Walk in Peace
You sit in your room, day after day
The silence is broken only when you breathe
Time passes by, Little change in routine
Your visitors are only on TV
Will you walk in the sunshine again
Will you feel the warmth of another's love
Will the world around you ever understand
Will you travel to the light all alone
Forced isolation, like an ace without a deuce
Living a game of solitaire
Will the next card bring a miracle, or just another day?
This game you'll try hard not to lose.
Walk in Peace, though few may walk beside you.
Walk in Peace, though grey your days may be.
Walk in Peace, 'til you pass into tomorrow.
Don't take with you the sorrow. Walk in Peace.
