Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song around x-mas 02 for a holiday
album that nightworks records was producing. It comes from seeing that the whole idea of
x-mas seems lost with consumerism these days.
Song Description
This is a really mellow Christmas song in the key of D, It has reference to Jesus in it.

Lyrics
The List
I?ll build the fire, you get the blankets,
We?ll spend the evening on the floor.
We have all that we need right here,
How could we ask for anything more?
Outside the snow is gently falling,
Peace and joy the children sing.
Halleluiah they are calling,
Through the night, their voices ring.
It?s Christmas Eve around the world tonight,
This little tow all dressed in white.
Our list is full of all we?re thankful for,
How could we ask for anything more,
How could we ask for anything more?
The baby?s sleeping as the fire burns low.
The lamp is glowing in the stove.
Christmas morning?s round the corner now,
the spirit of Jesus in us all.
God?s in the kingdom of your own heart,
His messege pure as driven snow.
Each day a chance to make a new start,
Go not afraid of the unknown,
Be not afraid of the unknown.
