Story Behind The Song
This is a song about my band playing for a big crowd at an alaskan music festival. There was plenty of "shrooming" going on and all I had were a few bananas to ease my tummy. I wrote this at the festival, taught it to the band before we went on and we played it, the crowd went nuts, they were singing the chorus by the end of the song.
Song Description
The three part harmonies and the chorus and the piano, really carry this song. It's simple in the reference to psilocybin is somewhat vague but those who have experience who have experience using mushrooms will get it right. Food combining is very important and this combo is right up there with burger and fries.

Lyrics
Mushrooms & Bananas
I say it?s damn good to be here, we?d like to welcome your smile.
So just hang on to your sweet thing, we?re gonna give you some style..
Say have you looked at the menu? Well let me tell you what?s on our special tonight,
You won?t find it on no blackboard,
It?s gonna fix you up right.
(chorus)
Mushrooms and Bananas, that?s all we got on our minds,
Mushrooms and Bananas, well, they make you feel fine, fine, fine.
Mushrooms and Bananas, that?s all we got on our minds, that?s all I got on my mind,
Mushrooms and Bananas, they make you fell fine, fine, fine
Now that your hunger is served,
I feel the night can begin,
So just let go of your sweet thing, won?t you let me come on in.
We?ll start right here in the tall grass,
You got your hands in the dirt,
You look up at me and whisper, I think it?s time for desert
(chorus x2)
