Story Behind The Song
Name came from booklet called Eight Passion Proteins with Care that a guy with a sandwich board called Stanley Green used to wander round London selling for 25 years until his death in 1993. His basic message was less protein, less lust.

Lyrics
Eight Passions
Can you hear the music playing softly through the air?
Squeezing out emotion like an undertakers prayer
Sometimes I don't believe how they can justify
Have you seen the faces in the morning's empty crowd?
Staring out of nowhere at the only thing that's out there
Love is a mystery, I can't de-mystify.
Weaving in and out of play and half-ass celebration
there's just something about the way she looks and turns around and utters
you know, you know
Half of my existence never ventures anywhere
Shuffling without a trace of any thoughts to care
Lost in a world that's seen nothing to amplify
Wake me up and shower me with reasons to be here
I just want to live a life through mirror pools and you're there
Love is a mystery, I can't de-mystify.
