Story Behind The Song

I had just come back from my annual snowboarding trip with the lads in Austria. It had been a great trip and I'd been looking forward to it for months. Now that I was back I had nothing particular to look forward to for the rest of the year. I'd also drunk a lot and I was getting the usual DT's. I was shook up, tired and depressed and composed most of the lyrics walking in the rain on my local beach.

Song Description

Classic pop song built around a simple riff. Introspective and narcissistic, this is one of a few of my songs which are based on the theme of self-pity. Nice acoustic instrumental punched through by an electric guitar solo dripping with reverb
