Story Behind The Song
I spent a few weeks not being able to sleep at night. So one night I grabbed my guitar at 2 in the morning and wrote this song over a couple drinks and a few cigarettes. Coincidently, I also recorded this song at 2 am and it is also the title track on my first album.

Lyrics
it?s Friday night, and I?m feeling lonely again
I listen for your footsteps coming up my stairs
your traffic lights are hazy I?m sitting wondering should I even go
you?re moving so fast now I don?t know if you remember me anymore
I?m staring out my window watch for the sound of your voice
it?s been so long since it?s come around I?m scared I?ll never hear it again
I pour myself just one more shot I light the night?s final cigarette
it?s getting dark but my tv?s turned on I still think you?ll walk through that door
