Story Behind The Song
The classic double entendre; this is a song about a relationship that is at its height of insanity. The powerful emotions when that person is around almost make you forget about the mayhem that surrounds the relationship itself and the damage it causes. In some ways Heroin is about the girl your mother warned you about?.and of course she was right. I came up with the concept for the song and ran it by a brilliant young poet, Kasey McCadoo, who gave me a rough draft that I shaped into lyrics and added a hook to. The music came very easily and took me less than ten minutes to get it to a point where I was happy with it.
Song Description
A straight ahead rocker with a nice hook. It's about a relationship with a girl that you become addicted to and that addiction may make you feel good...but it's not good for you.

Lyrics
Can't get enough of that addictive taste
She's my favorite drug with her gorgeous face
Feelin that high as I take her in
She's my heroine
my heroin
Cannot survive without my savior
in this realm of my uncontrolled behavior
Feelin so high as I take her in
She's my heroin
my heroine
Running through my veins
Runnin to my heart
Now I feel it all
