It's a true story.
It happened about five years ago and he's still with me.
Song Description
I had this black cat coming in my garden every day marking his territory. At first I used to put him going but one day I noticed cuts on him and so tried to make friends with him. At first he didn't want to know and as it says in the song he just decided one day to come to me and jumped up on my knee. I tried to find out where he was from but was unsuccessful so I ended up adopting him.
He's still with me now.
