Story Behind The Song
The first rendition of Thinking of You was written by Andy in the weeks immediately following his love collision in late November of 1984 with the woman whom he would end up marrying--Linda Jean Humm (now Temte). The first recording was vocals and acoustic guitar laid directly onto a cassette tape using an old school cassette recorder that served as a love letter to Linda as Andy fulfilled his obligations to his then-current traveling cover band, Cry Wolf. Andy was head over heels for Linda in 1984 and remains in that state today.

Lyrics
When I'm thinking of you it always makes me feel so brand new
And when you take me into your arms and hold me tight, you don't know what you do
You can take me around the world and back in a single rendezvous
And when I'm out on the road and I'm feeling so cold, you know that I'm missing you
The way that I feel about you, with words it can't be described
But I want you to know that I love you so, and to you, I will never let go...
I know by that lovin' look in your eye that you'll never let me down
And when we're out on the town the world keeps goin' round, but to us, the time stands still
And when we're apart the feeling I have in my heart, it keeps me strong
When I'm out on the road and I'm feeling so cold, in my dreams all I see is you
The way that I feel about you, with words it can't be described
But I want you to know that I love you so, and to you, I will never let go...
You can take me around the world and back in a single rendezvous
And when I'm out on the road and I'm feeling so cold, you know that I'm missing you
The way that I feel about you, with words it can't be described
But I want you to know that I love you so, and to you, I will never let go...
