Radiant Goddess

Story Behind The Song

Inspired partly by an aquaintance, partly by a Katherine Hepburn character, the story wrote itself once the character was created.

Song Description

The radiant goddess is blinded by her own radiance. She's cold and hard and doesn't know what it means to love a person or to be one.

Lyrics

The frostbite that's on the inside is worst kind.
It takes the longest to thaw. Bring it out.

Women love you because you seem so self assured,
and men love you because you're so mysterious.
You love you for all the above

Look me up, when you come back down.

I used to live with you in the temple on the hill
where the worshippers would come in song
and leave in a plain pine box.

The frostbite that's on the inside is the worst kind.
It takes the longest to thaw. Bring it out. Bring it out.
