Story Behind The Song
The song is about relationships and endearing love with the ability to let go. It is subtle in its metaphor and modest in its recognition of the possible demise of the fate of a lost love. It is also not unlike the songs I wrote in my first band which was a part of Manchester scene era.
Song Description
Song has a catchy dance groove with jangly guitars and hooky vocals. The verses build to the choruses with a bit of power. It is about love and moving on. It builds to an early pink Floyd like bridge.

Lyrics
Slow dive if you want it baby
Slip into the sea
It flows by the way side upside now
Go on and be free
Go on and be free
Swim on or the current pulls you
Rise up now for me
The truth is a burden at times
Go on and be free
Now you can be free
Earth shakes and rumbles under your feet
Or so the story was told to me
You glow like the seventh wonder
Unfurling for me
I bask in the shadows calmly
Do you see me?
Do you see me?
Your ways are just pure and simple
You look up at me
Your smile is a major thriller
Go on and be free
Now you can be free
The earth shakes and rumbles under your feet
Or so the stories was told to me
Green out in the fields today
And bright as the sun
You spin and it falls on me
Lay down or run
Slow dive if you want it baby
Slip into the sea
It flows by the way side upside now
Go on and be free
