Story Behind The Song

o Long Road Ahead ? This song was by all intensive reasons, an accident. I remember showing a friend my new music software. He asked me how the whole process worked from the beginning so I proceeded to show him how to create a song. He wanted to hear a sound so I pulled up a piano. I went to play a few notes as an illustration and he stopped me. He laid his hands on my shoulder and prayed for me. Something along the lines of, ?God bless my brother and anoint his efforts here!? I played a few notes and I liked the piano motif. It morphed into what it is now. The rest is history. There are two versions of this song; one with electric guitar that is a bit more adventurous (I couldn?t resist playing it!) and a version with an acoustic lead; it?s called The Long Road Ahead revisited. Ironically, this song was the first to be selected for the album. Little did I know there would be such a long road ahead. But that?s life.
