Story Behind The Song
When President Bush II decided to send troops to Iraq in 2002 after the collapse of the World Trade Center and associated buildings, supposedly by middle east extremists, the media made a spectacle out of the war by vilifying the US Soldiers, as well as any other soldiers of coalition forces, who took the lives of innocent civilians in these war torn countries. Many of these men, women, children, and families were killed under the auspices of revenge and eventual peace, when none of them were even part of the original plot to bomb America.
Song Description
This song is about war and the media frenzy that accompanies it. News Networks sensationalize the killing and depravation of the citizens who perish in these wars... They vilify the people who go to fight in an attempt to free those who are enslaved, and at the same time, immortalize those who die fighting against their saviors.
