Story Behind The Song

When i bought the beat from kaseam I feel in love with it, because it had the strongest element that could describe the Northwest (Seattle, Oregon) which was rain. I wanted to tell my story of why I moved out of state to clear some rumors back home. I also, wanted to let people know that there were some artist in the Northwest still repping strong that do understand and practice the hiphop culture and history. Hoping someone out there could relate, this song allowed me to explain why we get high in hopes to survive. Finally, I wanted to let NW artist know that you can make it and still be proud to be from the NW such as Bremerton, Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Tacoma, Vancouver B.C. Northern Cali, Kent, Spokane, Or any other NW area. Be true to who you are.
