Lyrics
THE WEATHER MAN IS CALLING FOR RAIN TONIGHT
IT COULDN’T COME A DAY TOO SOON
I’VE BEEN CARRYING THE WORLD ON MY SHOULDERS
I’VE GOT A LITTLE CRYING TO DO
THE STORM IS GETTING CLOSER, I CAN SMELL IT IN THE AIR
I KNOW THAT ANY MINUTE NOW
THE SILENCE WILL BE BROKEN BY THE RHYTHM ON THE ROOF
WHAT A SWEET, SOOTHING SOUND
CHORUS
SO I THROW THE WINDOW OPEN, FEEL THE WIND ON MY FACE
AS THE RAINDROPS FALL, MY TROUBLES START TO FADE
WHEN THE CLOUDS ROLL IN, THE HEALING BEGINS
MY WORRIES WASH AWAY, I LOVE THE NIGHTS
WHEN IT RAINS
IT’S TOO DARK TO SEE A RAINBOW IN THE POURING RAIN
BUT KNOWING THAT IT’S THERE BRINGS ME PEACE
THAT THERE WILL BE A NEW BEGINNING AT THE END OF THE NIGHT
AND THAT’S ALL THE HOPE I NEED
(REPEAT CHORUS)
