Story Behind The Song
I was seeing a wonderful woman for about 6 months, and she just never opened up emotionally, despite initiating many contacts with me. Eventually, I realized she would never be able to open up to me. Conversely, it's my believe that we are one in the end; the only separations are our mind and perceptions.
Song Description
Speaks to the surrealism of unrequited love, and the vulnerability we have similar to waterfalls giving selflessly and trees shedding tears for giving something they once held dear. Describes that connection will eventually come for all of us when "the lights go dim and planets swim."

Lyrics
A million miles have these feet traveled.
2 million threads have come unraveled.
Feels like an ocean filling inside.
Are we living in a dream world? A not quite what it seems world? In time, I know you'll be mine. In time...
Waterfalls give so selflessly. Swaying trees shed a tear for what they held so very dear.
Are we living in a dream world? A not quite what it seems world? In time, I know you'll be mine. In time...
(If only) If the Sun inhaled the Galaxy, would you and I finally meet? When the lights go dim, and planets swim I'll open up and invite you in.
And we'll be living in a dream world; a not quite what it seems world. In time, I know you'll be mine, and I'll finally know you'll be mine.
