March On

Story Behind The Song

This song was composed over a span of four months by all of the band members. It deals with putting up with somone who is very fickle that doesn't know what he/she wants. It's finally gotten to the point to where you have to tell someone to take a hike and march on!

Song Description

This song has a very involved melody line with instrumentation that compliments the vocals and in may cases can stand alone. The bridge of the song gives it a Latin feel and the guitar solo is one of a kind.

Lyrics

(Verse 1)
Listen and tell me just what I can say to make you feel that way; All that I know is that I'm tired and I need to get away

(Chorus)
You wanted more
You wanted less
You wanted more than I could give
Wanted more, wanted less
And march on

(Verse 2)
I said I'd never forget
That was where I made my first mistake
The words just keep on flying
I just can't afford to stay and wait
I don't know what you want
Always say what you're feeling

(Chorus)
