Song Description

Edward Hopper's painting "Sun In An Empty Room" was generally described as all of the things that could be, such as life's possibilities. This ekphrastic song is the basis for any lingering doubts in the couple's minds about a major life change. While Hopper stated that he wanted to paint the sun in an empty room, this painting was one of his final paintings, perhaps reminiscent of his impending death.
