Story Behind The Song
This song is a dedication to Jermaine Ward, "J-Fresh", one of the greatest MC's I've met in my career so far. We used to gather in the basement and pass the mic around while the beats were made from scratch. I saved all the tapes from the basement sessions, while promising the crew that the real studio is just around the corner. J-Fresh passed away in a traffic accident back in '97.
