I like the driving-down-the-highway feel of the song. It actually reminds me of The Highwaymen. There's a nice signature line running the the acoustic guitar. I like the haunting under-tones of the track.

Good vibe from the outset, and bringing the vocal forward (0:39) draws attention to the storytelling - though i felt the lyric could be tightened up in places eg 'proud of this' could just be 'proud' (2:05). Perhaps the rhythm section could be a little higher in the mix to give the song more drive, but nevertheless the production is slick, with some useful emphasis from the backing vocals. I enjoyed listening; keep up the good work!
