Vero Amore (Instrumental)

Story Behind The Song

This is an instrumental - the info below pertains to the lyrical version of the song. The story is sinister one. Inspired by a news story, the protagonists are a couple, with one child, who are extremely mentally ill, but madly in love. Unfortunately the couple decide that they, and the world, would be better off if they killed themselves and their mentally ill child. This is what goes on in the song.

Song Description

A dark, sinister, heavy, electro-rock song. Heavy in the verses with a sumptuous, harmony laden refrain-type chorus. The darkness and horror of the subject matter (murder-suicide) in the verses, it tempered by the tenderness of the love the couple express for each other in the choruses. Overall, this is clearly a very dark song, but it is also intended to express the reality of genuine love and affection that sometimes exists in the most unlikeliest of situations.
