Story Behind The Song
Butterfly was written in 2008 by myself and my husband Marcus. It was written to be an inspirational message for breaking out of one's shell and becoming what you are purposed to be. I was apart of a trio that broke up due to different life choices. I always knew I'd do a solo album and Butterfly was the song that in a way helped me share how I felt about moving forward without the other ladies in the trio beside me.
