Story Behind The Song
After writing a song reflecting my desire to try and reconcile my marriage("Find A Way") I went the other direction with this one and focused on helping my self-esteem by justifying the end of a relationship. Blame can be given to both. It's rarely one-sided. I try to be diplomatic by using examples of BOTH of our problems.
Song Description
Self-Pity Girl comments on all the issues involved with break ups. Blame and self-pity can be attributed to both parties. Everyone has baggage and hang-up's.

Lyrics
You?re not the only one?to feel the pain?
Try being me for once?it?s all the same?
Pity on me for wasting time?
It took too long for me to realize
The writing, was on the wall?
Pit on you to close that door?
You won?t be holding me anymore?
I?m on my way, I?m over this?
My strings won?t stretch?any further than they already do?
So what?s the catch?do you get pleasure playing tricks that you do?
Blame it on the blindness of my heart
I feel as though I was doomed from the start
My heart and mind always disagree
Blame it on the fact that you can?t see?
All the goodness and beauty around me?
I?m on my way, I?m over this?
You?re not the only one?to feel the pain?
Try being me for once?it?s all the same?
