Story Behind The Song
Most people don't live up to their potential and aren't happy where they're at in life. This song is simply describing how those people feel; like the weight of the world is on their shoulders but they know if that's every going to change they have to take action to make it happen. Though the song is written from the perspective of the working poor a lot of different people can relate to it because no matter where a person is at in life they're always making a move; either a move to stay where they're at or a move to get to a higher level/status.

Lyrics
1st Verse
Another week finally through
I'm not feeling my job I've gotta find something new
Because the pay is low and the stress is high
Even when I'm not there it's still on my mind
I'm checking out the classifieds but all I see
Are positions for everyone but me
When all I really want to do is sing my tunes
I wanna hit the stage I really need to make a move
Hook
Stressed out things ain't right
There's gotta be more for my life
I need to make a move
Don't wanna look back
Wishing I'd done this or that
I need to make a move
2nd Verse
My landlord called about the house I rent
I knew that he'd been trying to sell it, I guess he finally did
Because he gave me thirty days to find another place
But with rent so high I really can't afford to pay
I don't wanna take another step away from my dreams
But with a second job that's exactly where I'll be
Tell me what I've gotta do to sing my tunes
And still pay my bills, I know I need to make a move
Hook (2x's)
Bridge
I don't wanna go another day
depending on luck it's not enough
I'm going all out for my dreams
It's the only way they will come to be
Hook/Close
