I had the chords for this song years ago, but somehow it was always too cluttered. I was reminiscing after my neighbour had died, looking into his garden from my window when a dove landed and instantly took off again. I watched it rise and I had my song.
Song Description
This song pays homage to inner strength, wonderment and awe. I wanted to create something simple, so as not to complicate the emotion of the song. It needed to have the feeling of a great space.
It is our condition to always question "why?" This song just says "Wow!" to what ever it is that keeps us going. For the purpose of the song "it" is The Dove in your Soul.
