Story Behind The Song

After a lifetime of judgement from peers to family to strangers due to a lack of insight, wisdom, experience, patience, or understanding (not that there was no love or care), and a lifetime of confusion for myself because of religious and societal pressures (i grew up with pressures to succeed in the church and in the secular world while never really sorting out my own identity, meanwhile realizing i had things to offer but no sense of responsibility or worth), i wrote these lyrics to an arrangement inspired sonically by the band catherine wheel. i'm not the same person now but i still identify with where it all came from....
