Lyrics
the present becomes past with every moment that passes
and the future is the time spent waiting for this to
happen and now is the moment you'll regret not holding
on to left with the photos to remind and to haunt you
once a moment passes it ceases to be and it lingers in
the form of knotted memories that swirl with a chaos
desperate and angry demanding substance or another
chance
so i scribbled you out of all my notebooks today no
amount of squinting or pleading is gonna reveal your
name i'll have these ink blots to remind me of the
mistake that i made but i won't allow the courtesy or
grant it name or face
once a memory's forgotten it ceases to be a state of
freedom's achieved when you finally see that with it's
passing the present eludes reality so my vision now
stands directly in front of me i know that now is all
that i have there's no compromising that it's simply a
fact
i can't help being useless it just comes naturally to
me and i can't help being faithless i'm a product of
the things i see and i know i'm disenchanting it's so
much easier to maintain and i guess that i figured
buried beneath this facade you'd never ask me to
explain
once a memory's forgotten it ceases to be a state of
freedoms achieved when you finally see that with it's
passing the present eludes reality so my vision now
stands directly in front of me i know that now is all
that i have there's no compromising that it's simply a
fact
