Story Behind The Song
just a little ditty about Brooklyn and some good life lessons I wrote, based around a traditional delta blues song format but I made a hook and a rap verse. It also kinda sums up our overall sound, a healthy dose of delta blues and a helping of hip hop and a dose of reggae. So it was an attempt at getting it all in one song...our sound...our aesthetic...Sidestreet Reny!
Song Description
Traditional acoustic delta style slide guitar blues mixed with hip hop and reggae. Slide guitar driven trio sound with upright bass and drums, male/female harmonies and a reggae rap verse/breakdown in the middle.
