a red sun is rising in the east
From the lake the wild geese are calling

There where the broken hearts can mend
a place to rest from the lifetime runway
our hearts are lost .... to a silent piece of land

On the chestnut tree the buzzard sits awaiting
He´s looking around a kingdom of his own
Beneath a pond a red flag is waving
Symbolizing we have found a home ...

Now the last light of a winters day is fading
Disappearing right behind these hills
