Story Behind The Song
The Tarot Suite was written after the composer finished a 21st century Planet Suite (original works - not a Holst cover). Having pursued astrological impressions to music, Ward - who had studied tarot for 30 years - sought to find musical expressions for a selection of Major Arcana Tarot cards.
