Story Behind The Song
My daughter used to hum when I was feeding her when she was a baby and along with the lullaby's when I sang her to sleep. I sang this song as a lullaby for my daughter and then for my son when they were baby's.
Song Description
This is a lullaby. I composed it and sang it with my children's names in the song but it could just as easily be used with "baby" in place of the names used in the song or with your own child's name in that section. It always seemed to help my children fall asleep when they were so very young.

The Sleepy Song
by: SD Gross
(Intro Instrumental)
Nikki's going to sing her sleepy little song
All day long, night long.
Nikki's going to sing her sleepy little song
All night long, day long.
Sing it in the morning. Sing it in the night.
When you sing your sleepy song, things will be all right.
Sing it in the evening. Sing it in the day.
Daddy's going to help you sing, making things OK.
Steven's going to sing his sleepy little song
All day long, night long.
Steven's going to sing his sleepy little song
All night long, day long.
Sing it in the morning. Sing it in the night.
When you sing your sleepy song, things will be all right.
Sing it in the evening. Sing it in the day.
Daddy's going to help you sing, making things OK.
Nikki's going to sing her sleepy little song
All day long, night long.
Steven's going to sing his sleepy little song
All night long, day long.
