do you remember the lakes so crystal clear?
the graceful birds, the forests and the deer?
I've seen the pictures and the 3D video
I've read the stories and it seems so long ago

they heard the warnings - scoffed at all the science
they scolded others while they used every appliance
in the end it was too little and too late
always more important matters on their plate
