Lyrics
I remember my favorite toy when I was just a kid
I'd take it out of its plastic egg and stick it where'd stick
I could shape and mold it, make a monkey or a giraffe
stuck it to a comic strip to make a face that made me laugh
I remember Sunday school and the lessons about Christ
the teacher said to be like Him and He would shape and mold our lives
Then I recalled my favorite toy and I could understand
That I am Jesus silly putty and He'll shape me with his hand
Lord make me your silly putty, break me out of this egg
shape me and mold me, hold me up to Your face
I wanna lift Your image and glorify Your name
roll me up in a ball and bounce me I'll go where ever You say
Seems like a funny way for me to see
but didn't Jesus say to be like a child because thier faith holds the key
So I guess Im a little toy and I'll bounce like a super ball
and I'll bounce and bounce my way to heaven when I hear my Jesus call
Lord make me your silly putty, break me out of this egg
shape me and mold me, hold me up to Your face
I wanna lift Your image and glorify Your name
roll me up in a ball and bounce me I'll go where ever You say
