Story Behind The Song

This piece started as a 53 second cue that was thrown together quickly for a project that didn't go anywhere. I didn't have anything specific in mind when I wrote it other than "epic adventure". After listening to the initial version I knew it could be developed into something much better and later proceeded to flesh out the parts into a 4 minute theme. My wife said it reminded her of Lawrence of Arabia, so hence the title Lawrence of Arcadia. I did know a guy named Larry who lived in Pasadena which is close to Arcadia, CA. I'm sure he'll be expecting some form of compensation when this piece gets licensed.
