Alfred E Neuman actually goes back far beyond MADD magazine. At one point, MADD published a photograph of Prince Charles as a child, claiming Alfred was copied from it. LOL But if you go to yourtube and search for "HISTORY OF ALFRED E NEUMAN" it is a really interesting story, and goes way back to Topeka Kansas long before MADD Magazine was ever dreamed up.
